The Experience
Join professional underwater photographer Ross Long for an intimate workshop at Nguthungulli Julian Rocks, a world class destination for anyone interested in exploring the wonders of the underwater world.
Summer is the season to witness leopard sharks, which gracefully glide through the crystal-clear waters, often seen resting on the sandy seabed or patrolling the reef. These gentle creatures are a favorite for snorkelers and divers, thanks to their stunning spotted patterns and docile nature.
Adding to the magic, manta rays frequent the area during summer, their massive wingspan and graceful movements creating awe-inspiring encounters. You may also spot schools of colorful fish, sea turtles, and even wobbegong sharks nestled among the rocky outcrops and coral formations.
The calm and clear waters surrounding the rock offer ideal conditions for snorkellers at all levels. The excellent visibility and various depths means that there is variety for all. The nursery area has a maximum depth of 5m so you can feel safe and secure whilst encountering an array of beautiful wildlife.
Whether you’re a professional photographer or a beginner looking to learn a new skill, this workshop offers an unforgettable experience where you will learn, make new friends and encounter moments that will change your life.
